INDABA 2015 is less than 30 days away, and to date, over 5000 meetings have been scheduled via the
Diary and Matchmaking System. This is 950 more meetings scheduled this year, compared to last year at this time. This user–friendly service is already giving buyers and exhibitors a platform to plan their INDABA meetings and extract optimal business value from the tradeshow.
Escalation in meetings is indicative of a 30 percent rise in exhibitors who are on board for INDABA 2015, a 15% growth of hosted buyers who will attend INDABA 2015 as compared to the number that attended INDABA last year.
To date, 220 international hosted buyers have logged onto the Online Diary and Matchmaking System. Between them they have logged on 2 742 times to make contact with 1 091 exhibitors. These INDABA delegates have set up an average of five meetings each. At the same time last year, with less than a month to go to INDABA, 3.8 meetings per Online Diary participant had been set up.
