SOUTH AFRICAN TOURISM invites all South African travel and tourism exhibitors who are registered for this year’s Tourism INDABA 2015 to design pre and post INDABA tours for media, trade and buyer delegates attending the show this year.
These packages will be promoted in all South African Tourism’s communication with INDABA registered delegates in the months leading up to INDABA 2015. This gives exhibitors valuable exposure to a group of almost 12 000 people, including some of the most important business people in global tourism today.
“Buyers and journalists come to the Tourism INDABA to do business with the widest breadth and depth of our tourism offering,” says Mr Thulani Nzima, Chief Executive Officer at South African Tourism. “The pre and post tours give them a chance to personally experience our destination and our extremely capable and professional industry. This invitation gives exhibitors maximum value out of INDABA as a business platform.
“INDABA is Africa’s top travel and tourism show. It is an important platform which we, as a national destination marketing organisation, use to market the whole country and help to showcase our offerings and ultimately to drive the geographic spread for tourism’s benefit,” Mr Nzima says.
While South African Tourism will not dictate to exhibitors what the itinerary should be, the general understanding is that packages need to be tailored to meet the seven key South African experiences that the organisation markets extensively to the world. These are: Deep Blue Plus, Scenic Beauty, Roots and Culture, Action Adventure, Lap of Luxury, Culture and Lifestyle and Wildlife Plus.
This offer is only open to INDABA exhibitors.
